The number of deaths caused by typhoon Sendong (tropical storm Washi) has reached 652 with at least 808 more missing, according to the latest report from CNN. More than 20,000 evacuees are crammed in 23 temporary shelters. The most affected areas are the port cities of Cagayan de Oro and Iligan.
