Ever since I got hospitalized due to gastritis a few months back, I have made it a habit to eat healthy food whenever I can.

So when Andrew told me that California Berry invited us to sample their yogurts, I made sure to find time to visit their store at the 2nd floor of Gaisano Mall of Davao.

I ordered their seasonal special — blueberry yogurt topped with Planters Honey Roasted Nuts, Mrs. Fields Chocolate Chip Cookies, and Cheesecake Factory’s Original Cheesecake.

The tangy flavor of the blueberry yogurt was complemented well by the sweetness of the chocolate chip cookies and cheesecake toppings while the roasted nuts gave it a crunchy twist which I absolutely loved. It was heaven in a cup!

What sets California Berry apart from other yogurt stores is the fact that they only use non-fat milk in making their yogurt to ensure that their offering is 100% fat-free.

Another edge is the price. California Berry’s yogurt offerings are competitively priced. A cup of their original non-fat  frozen yogurt without toppings starts at P60 while their seasonal special sells at P65.
