The next time I crave for chicken wings, I now know where to go. Because last week, I was at Wings & Dips, a newly-opened diner along Mabini Street that specializes in fried chicken wings and pasta.

At Wings & Dips, my blogger friends and I tried their all-in-one wings and pasta meals as suggested by owner Andrew Azarias.

Buffalo Wings and Bolognese Pasta (Php118)

I had their original recipe buffalo wings and bolognese pasta. The chicken wings were a tad too spicy for my liking but the pasta was surprisingly good. I’m not really a big fan of Italian fare (except pizza) but I finished my bolognese pasta in no time. For my side dish, I ordered french fries, which I must say, is exceptionally tasty.

Buffalo Wings and Pesto (Php105)

Wings and Dips offers several incarnations of the usual buffalo wings. Brendel‘s chicken wings had Korean chili giving it that distinct Korean flavor which I find to be more suited for my taste.

Another dish we tried was Grandma’s Bulad which is actually sweetened dried fish drenched in olive oil. It’s sweet and salty, and I imagine, perfect with a plateful of steaming hot rice.
