Ice Castle Experience
During my last trip to General Santos City, I stayed at the Ice Castle Experience, the tuna capital’s first and only themed hotel. Hotel owner, Mr. Rey Billena, partnered with Avel Manansala and Orman Manansala of the SoCCSKSarGen Bloggers and generously offered to be our official residence for the duration of the SoCCSKSarGen Summer Safari.
What sets Ice Castle Experience apart from the other hotels in General Santos City is that it is built like a fairytale castle. The hotel utilizes the castle theme effectively, making it an ideal hotel for families with young children.
Throughout my stay, I was able to experience what the owner of Ice Castle Experience promises to offer their guests when they open their doors to the public next month. I stayed in one of the 11 well-decorated rooms and suites. The room I was assigned to was clean and furnished with the most modern amenities like an LCD TV and 24-hour WiFi connection.
Ice Castle Experience will also house a business center to cater to the needs of business travelers. They will also have two function rooms where guests can hold business meetings and gatherings.
For the food-lovers, the hotel has Fire & Ice, a restaurant that will provide select healthy and affordable meals that made Genee’s and Ice Crops Express very popular in General Santos City. The hotel also features an al fresco bar for guests who love to unwind and are looking for entertainment at night.
Ice Castle Experience is located at GLEX Business Center, 12 Ambassador Provido Village, City Heights, General Santos City. For inquiries and reservations, visit their website at www.gensanice.com or call them at (083) 554-4423.
