Day 3 of our Kalilangan 2010 experience began with a magnificent early lunch at Mt. Sabrina in Tambler Hills, GenSan.

Having been told that the place is owned by GenSan’s queen of tuna cuisine, I knew we were in for a delectable treat and boy, was I not mistaken. Of course, it helps that I have tried Mrs. Sol Mananquil’s famous tuna dishes before at JAMS Resto Bar.

When food was served, our group devoured — yes, devoured — the Nilagang Baka, Grilled Tuna Belly, Grilled Panga, and Steamed Pompano that was laid before us. Who wouldn’t? Just check out the yummy photos below.

After that hearty Filipino lunch, we hied off to Robinson’s Place GenSan so the girls can get prettified at Envy Me Salon. Ria, Dulce, and Chattee were tasked to judge the first ever Search for the Queen of Mindanao Festivals.

While the ladies were getting ready for their judging chores, Avel and I were busy preparing for the first-ever live video streaming of a festival event. GenSan’s young bloggers Rabsky, Hanabebs, Chariz, and Alexis were around to assist.  The pageant was shown live and uninterrupted via the internet at GenSan News Online Mag. I consider the undertaking successful considering there were viewers from abroad and most, if not all, of those who tuned in were appreciative of the effort despite our limited setup.

Dinner on our third night in GenSan was at Jo’s Inato with the GenSan bloggers.
