Isla Jardin del Mar
Sarangani has a new gem and it’s called Isla Jardin del Mar.
Brendel and I were there over the weekend with SOCCKSARGEN bloggers Orman Manansala, Avel Manansala, Ric Dumalay, Sheng Dumalay, Jinky Borela, Arnel Borela, Gilbert Tan, Donna Mae Congson, Mandi Nicolas, and Michelle Solon.

Owned by fishing magnate, Marfin Tan, the 34-hectare white sand beach resort opened with a bang on Saturday to around 1,000 guests. We arrived before noon with most of the opening activities already in full swing. Highlighting the opening day festivities were a bikini beach volleyball competition, sand sculpture contest, parlor games, and a night beach party featuring a live band.

Managed by same people behind Sydney Hotel and Isla Parilla, Isla Jardin del Mar offers endless adventures for beach goers and nature adventurers alike.
The resort has a restaurant and air conditioned family cottages for those who want to spend the night at the resort. They also have open air cottages for those visiting just for the day.

Guests can rent Jet Skis, All-Terrain Vehicles (ATVs), and soon, go fishing at the resort’s lagoon. Trekking activities for the more adventurous guests are also in the works.

We are indeed lucky to be among the first to enjoy Isla Jardin del Mar’s natural charm which has not been lost even with some requisite modern amenities constructed within the beachfront property.
Kudos to Nong Marfin and his brood and to Sarangani Province Governor Migs Dominguez for making this new tourist gem a major priority.
Welcome to Soccsksargen’s Island Paradise!

Thanks, Lito!
It’s not hard to take nice photos if the place being photographed is inherently beautiful.
