GenSan’s Sydney Hotel
Everytime I receive a travel invitation to the Tuna Capital of the Philippines from GenSan’s numero uno blogger, Avel Manansala, I can’t help but get excited.
I’ve always had a special affinity to GenSan and its people. This year alone, I’ve been to GenSan at least 4 times already. Of course it helps that GenSan is just 3 hours away from Davao. But what really makes me keep going back is the experience. Every trip to GenSan is an experience and it is never the same.

GenSan at Night
And speaking of experience, my stay at GenSan’s Sydney Hotel is one that deserves a blog post.
Sydney Hotel is one of the better hotels in GenSan. The executive room I was billeted in is clean, well-maintained and spacious. The bed is comfortable and the bathroom is big. The hotel staff is very professional, courteous, and accommodating.

The complimentary breakfast at the Hotel’s WiFi-equipped restaurant is superb.

With the GenSan Tuna Festival coming up this September, Sydney Hotel is the place to be.
I can just imagine how fun it would be to watch the Float Light Parade and GTX Mardi Gras from the hotel room’s veranda. Here’s a photo of Pioneer Avenue I took from my room’s veranda. Perfect view for the street activities, isn’t it?

GenSan Park
Did I mention that Sydney Hotel will be giving huge discounts for their standard rooms for the whole month of September?
For booking details and other information on their promotional offers and amenities, visit them online at http://sydneyhotel.com.ph or drop them an e-mail at sydneyhotelgsc@yahoo.com.ph. They are also reachable at Tel. No. (083) 552-5479 to 81.
