Tierra Montana Hotel
I have very simple tastes when it comes to accommodations. Each time I have to stay in a hotel, my requirements are simple: I want an affordable and clean room with an equally clean toilet and bath — that’s it.
Imagine my delight when our group were shown to our rooms at the Tierra Montana Hotel in GenSan.
Tierra Montana’s 27 tastefully decorated rooms all come with a wall-mounted LCD TV and free highspeed WiFi connection.
They also have a swimming pool, Jacuzzi, and a KTV bar.
At Php 1, 450 per night, Tierra Montana’s rates maybe a tad pricey compared to other hotels in GenSan but I can say that you definitely get your money’s worth. They also give complimentary breakfast to hotel guests.

Filipino breakfast: Tapsilog
For reservations and inquiries, contact Tierra Montana Hotel at (083) 554-7733. As always, my heartfelt thanks to Avel Manansala of GenSantos.com for making sure we had the best accommodations in GenSan.

The hotel has been newly-renovated, we were told. I was really pleasantly surprised when we arrived.
Oh, and I failed to mention in the blog post that the hotel has at least 7 WiFi access points that my laptop can detect from the room. Every part of the property is covered.

Am glad you had a good time during your stay at Tierra Montana. Even if it’s the newest hotel in GenSan, it has already set the standards for the other hotels to follow.
Congrats Tierra Montana and lots of thanks to owner Dyogi.

At last! A place where you can expect a good sleep in between clean sheets unlike in other pricey and supposedly 4 star places wherein the sheets even have cigarette burns on it and the grimy toilets. Ewks.
Definitely will stay here on the next vacation.
