Now, here’s something for all the Santa doubters out there.

Believe it or not, the North American Aerospace Defense Command or NORAD, a military center tasked to monitor and defend the air spaces of U.S. and Canada actually tracks Santa Claus’ whereabouts on Christmas eve and it has been doing it since 1955.

This year, NORAD reported that Santa Claus started his gift-giving trek early Wednesday at the International Date Line in the Pacific Ocean.
