When it comes to food, I am not really the adventurous-type. As such, the only mediterranean food that I have tried before are shawarma and kabab. So, when I joined Blogie, Brendel, Chattee, Andrew, and Jim for dinner at Khash Persian Kabab Resto Bar, I didn’t really know what to expect.

And since I haven’t been to a Persian restaurant before (does a sidewalk nook count?), I’d say my experience at Khash was pleasantly “different.”

The wall hangings, rugs, strange-looking vases with long hoses (it wasn’t until later when I learned that those things are called shisha pipes) and the fabulous combination of vibrant colors certainly gave the place an authentic mediterranean feel to it.

Khash Persian Kabab Resto Bar serves delicious authentic Persian dishes at very reasonable prices. Flavorful appetizers like the creamy soup, pita bread, hummus (Php 85) and torshi (Php 25) will surely stimulate your appetite in preparation for the huge-portioned mouth-watering main courses like the Beryani rice (Php 199), Joojeh (Php 120), and Soltani(Php 199). An order of Lamb Beryan (Php 100) and Abgosht (Php 90) will also be a flavor-rich addition to your hearty fare. And if you still have some space left, a glass of Dough(Php 50), a refreshing drink of flavored yoghurt, will be the perfect accompaniment to your meal.

In a nutshell, Khash Persian Kabab Resto Bar serves delicious authentic Persian dishes in a relaxed, forget-the-world ambiance and at prices that won’t break the bank. So, if you want your dining experience to be deliciously “different” like I did, you can visit them at Quimpo Boulevard, Davao City.
