Sud-an Grill and Restaurant: Sumptuous Meals with Home-Cooked Goodness
During my last day in General Santos City, I received a call from Avel Manansala inviting me to have lunch with him along with a small group of bloggers from Davao City at the Sud-an Grill and Restaurant.
Lunch at Sud-an Grill and Restaurant was absolutely delicious. We were served mouth-watering dishes which included Baby Squid with Garlic, Sugpo in Aligue, Tuna Belly, Baby Back Ribs, Crispy Tuna Tail, and Honey Chili Chicken. For dessert, we had Buko Pandan and Fresh Fruit Salad. It was truly a sumptuous feast!

Specializing in Filipino Cuisine but with a modern touch, Sud-an Grill and Restaurant is located along Santiago Boulevard in General Santos City. The restaurant is owned and managed by Tony and Petit Veneracion, the same husband-and-wife team behind Sunset Cafe, a very popular coffee shop and Wi-Fi hotspot within the East Asia Royale Hotel compound.

Alas, it was time for our group to leave General Santos City and after thanking our host Ms. Petit Veneracion and her very attentive restaurant staff, we headed to the bus terminal.
It was a long trip back home to Davao City but with my belly full of Sud-an Grill and Restaurant’s deliciously home-style meals, I slept through the trip back home.
