It’s all systems go for the 2nd Mindanao Bloggers Summit with General Santos City playing host for this year’s biggest gathering of bloggers from all over Mindanao.
The theme for this year’s event is:
MINDANAWAN, PAMINAWON INTAWON: Blogging the Mindanao Consciousness.
If last year’s edition was any indication, the two-day event on October 25 and 26 is something that any mindanao blogger shouldn’t miss.
WordCamp Philippines 2008 – Davao Photos
Sep 4th
I just got back from the mini-WordCamp held at Bryan’s Grill & Cafe in Palm Village, Davao City.
The event was well-attended so kudos to the organizers and sponsors. I was thinking of posting a recap of the event but decided to create a photo slideshow instead. I think the photos pretty much summarizes the whole event.
I personally met Matt Mullenweg, co-founder of WordPress and a lot of really nice bloggers today plus I learned a thing or two about WordPress.
Overall, it was a fun gathering of bloggers bonded together by a great and powerful platform. I might migrate this blog to wordpress in the coming days.
