iPhone 3G to Go on Sale in the Philippines on August 22
Steve Job’s 3G iPhones will officially go on sale locally on August 22, 2008 but don’t expect buyers to line-up outside Globe Telecom’s business centers.
The price for the both prepaid and postpaid units is prohibitively expensive, some people are calling it highway robbery.
The price for the prepaid 8 GB model is a whopping P41,899 while the 16 GB model will set you back P48,899. However, Prepaid iPhone 3G kits will be provided with P200 worth of free load every month for 5 months.
