Blogging Has Gone Mobile With WordPress for iPhone/iPod Touch
If you’re a blogger and using the wordpress platform, blogging just got better for you. Automattic has just launched a free iPhone App for WordPress.
Free as the air you’re breathing, this nifty little app is feature-packed yet easy to use. Features include:
1. Support for both wordpress-hosted and self-hosted wordpress blog
2. Actual post preview with embedded safari
3. Complete support for tags and categories
4. Write or edit content on multiple blogs
5. Recovery features for posts interrupted by calls
6. Post photos directly from the camera or the camera album
Blogging has gone mobile with WordPress for iPhone/iPod touch.
As with any other app, free or otherwise, there are things that are much to be desired. So here are the not-so-good stuff:
1. Inability to add links
2. Can’t post remotely hosted images
3. Lacks text formatting
But as you can probably surmise, the good stuff far outnumbers the so-so stuff.
Excited already? Check out this video for a quick rundown of features before heading to the App Store:
Oh I forgot, my blog is on blogger. Now, I’m green with envy.
